By Bus
The No. 65 Bus runs at (approx) 20 minute intervals from Kingston and stops at the top of Albany Park Road.

By Train
Kingston is 25 minutes from London Waterloo station (Travel card zone 6). Take South West Trains services from London Waterloo, Clapham Junction or Wimbledon calling at Kingston. There are 6 trains per hour from London Waterloo to Kingston, of which 4 run via Wimbledon and 2 run via Richmond and Putney. There are also 2 trains that run to Shepperton travelling through Kingston. From Kingston station it is a 15/20 min walk.

By Car
They are situated north of Kingston town centre, just off the A307 (Richmond Road), turn into Albany Park Road (look out for sign post). Albany Park Road is opposite the North Kingston Centre and Tiffin Girls School.


Fitness Centre, Kingston University

The Fitness Centre is located to the rear of the Penrhyn Road Main Site and must be accessed via its own entrance door which is off Fassett Road.

Walking from Bus or Railway station
Leaving from either exit of Kingston Railway Station, make your way over to the Rotunda Leisure Centre (silver building, diagonally across the road from you). Keeping the Rotunda on your left, walk along this road (Clarence Street). You will pass Oceana and the telephone sculptures, also on your left. Continue until you come to a large road junction with pedestrian crossings. Continue straight across (the bus station will be visible on your left). Walk along this road (Wheatfield Way) past the Kingston Museum, and continue to follow the main road.Cross at the pedestrian lights over Fairfield South and follow the road until you reach the College Roundabout. The University is straight on, on the left hand side.

By Train

  • From the North: follow the M1 to junction 6a (M25), take the M25 to junction 13 (A30), follow the signs to the A308 (Kingston) through Staines, Sunbury, Hampton Court and on to Kingston Bridge
  • From central London: take the A3 to Robin Hood Roundabout, take the right lane filter onto Kingston Vale (A308)
  • From the South: take the M25 to junction 9, then take the A243 to Surbiton and follow the signs to Kingston
  • From the South West: take the M3 to Sunbury, then take the A308 to Hampton Court and follow the signs to Kingston

 


Kingston Arena Sports Centre (Kingston College)

The Arena is located to the rear of the Kingston College Main Site and must be accessed via its own entrance door which is off Kingston Hall Road.

Walking from Bus or Railway station

To find the centre by car from all directions follow signs to The Rose car park. Nandos chicken restaurant is on the corner of the road that leads to the car park. The Arena is located 50m past the vehicle entrance to the car park. From 6.30 pm you can park your car for £1.00.

Waterloo to Surbiton. Then Depart Victoria Road. At roundabout, take 2nd exit onto St James Road. Turn right onto Maple Road. Turn left onto Cadogan Road. Arrive at Portsmouth Road.

By Car
Depart onto Penrhyn Road toward Woodbines Avenue. Turn right onto Woodbines Avenue (Gated road). Turn left onto A307 / Portsmouth Road.

By Bus

Tolworth Court is situated just after the Hook Roundabout on the A3. It is served well by public transport. Buses 965, 406, 418, K2, 265, K1, and 665 all pass close to the University grounds.

By Car

  • From M25. Take Junction 10, A3 exit. Follow A3 towards London. Take the Tolworth Exit (Charrington Bowl) and turn right (third exit) at the roundabout. Approximately 500m along the road there are traffic lights. Take a left here (by the sign saying Kingston University Sports Ground) and follow the road around to the right, along to the ground. The first ground is Deckers Sports & Social Club.
  • From London (A3). Come off A3 at the Tolworth Exit (Charrington Bowl) and turn left (2nd exit) at the roundabout onto A240 sign posted Epsom. Approximately 500m along the road there are traffic lights. Take a left here (by the sign saying Kingston University Sports Ground) and follow the road around to the right, along to the ground. By Rail
From Waterloo to Tolworth Station. Turn right on leaving the station, the ground is approx. 100m along the road on the left hand side.

The K3 is the only bus that will drop you within a 5 minute walk of the venue.

By Train:
Thames Ditton is the closest train station. Depart Basingfield Road toward B364 / Station Road. Turn right onto B364 / Station Road. Turn left to stay on B364 / Giggs Hill Road0.2 miles. Road name changes to Angel Road. Turn left onto Sugden Road , arrive at Surbiton Hockey Club on the right.

By Car:

  • From A3 southbound. Leave A3 just after Hook exit signed ‘Esher’. At first roundabout turn right at T junction turn right into Sugden Road. Ground entrance on right in 1/4 mile opposite Scott Farm Close.
  • From A3 northbound. Leave A3 at Esher/Leatherhead exit and follow signs to Esher/Sandown Park. From one-way system in Esher, follow signs towards Kingston and drive past Sandown Park 1 mile from Esher at the Scilly Isles roundabout, bear right joining dual carriageway towards A3 & London. At first set of lights, turn left into Manor Road North After 1/2 mile this becomes Sugden Road, ground entrance on right opposite Scott Farm Close).
