Hello, my name is Catherine Cargill - currently finishing my 3rd year.  

I joined MidSoc - as an events officer so that I can assist with arranging events for the midwifery students - socially or professionally, locally, nationally or even internationally - to share our experiences, learn and support each other on this journey.  

In my free time I… what free time?? 

When I had free time - I enjoyed travelling, reading for pleasure, spending time with family and friends, going to the gym or beach / countryside for long walks.  

Now I just about manage a long walk once a week.  

Meanwhile I am enjoying meeting students on the midwifery course across the different cohorts - and trying to find out how MidSoc can be a part that makes their experience a good one while they pursue their studies here.
