Hi everyone! My name is Skye and I am the president of the midwifery society here at kingston university. 

I am in my third year of the midwifery course and I am so passionate about midwifery-led care. I want to emphasise the importance of mental health and well-being, especially as student midwives along this journey of accomplishment. Being a student midwife has its challenges, but together we can support and help each other.

This academic year, I hope to bring people together by overseeing and organising events, socials, peer support and presentations to provide advice and information on all things midwifery. The Midsoc team are absolutely amazing and we are dedicated to helping and encouraging others.
