Welcome to Kingston University Creative Writing Society!

This society is geared towards everyone from aspiring novelists to casual writers who simply write as a hobby. Our membership consists of students from Foundation Year to PhD, studying subjects as varied as Politics, Fashion Design, Engineering and indeed, Creative Writing itself, each sharing a passion for writing, reading or talking about books.  

Whether you enjoy writing short stories, poetry, novels, scripts, journalism, song lyrics – or anything in between – this society aims to cultivate an inclusive, constructive environment for members to discuss, share, and review each other’s work. The society is open to anyone regardless of their level of experience and we encourage people to come whether they want to share or they just want to listen. There are no obligations to share work.
